A $500 scholarship is awarded to a deserving first year student from the Central PA region each year.
Scholarship details for incoming students are available beginning each March with the recipient selected in June and honored at our Incoming Student Social in July/August each summer.

PA LICENSE PLATES
The Pennsylvania Chapters and Clubs of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association are proud to offer residents of the Commonwealth the opportunity to show off their Hokie pride by registering their vehicles with a Virginia Tech license plate. And now, Virginia Tech plates can be personalized!
Proceeds from the sale of each plate benefit Hokie Alumni Chapter and Club scholarship programs. This color, graphic specialty license plate featuring the “athletic VT” logo proudly proclaims your affiliation with Virginia Tech. Plates can be ordered for a one-time fee of $50.00 each, or $150.00 each with personalization, which includes a $18.00 contribution to your local Chapter or Club scholarship fund.
PLEASE DO NOT order your specialty plate through PennDOT or a local tag agency (messenger service). The VTAA Specialty Plate Program coordinator must first process your application before we forward the information to PennDOT.
BUFFALO WILD WINGS HOME TEAM ADVANTAGE PROGRAM
From 2016 – 2019 we raised close to $400 for our scholarship program through a partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings in Mechanicsburg and Lancaster, PA
