An annual event for the Central PA Hokies, the Central PA Food Bank provides support to food banks across the Central PA territory.

According to the Central PA Food Bank: The COVID-19 crisis revealed how vulnerable so many Pennsylvanians are to hunger. Food insecurity in central Pennsylvania is 11 percent higher than it was in 2019. Last year, over 10,673 volunteers (working individually and as part of group efforts) donated 84,000 hours of their time to help their neighbors in need.

Masks required. Volunteers must be 18 years old or older. All volunteers should be socially distanced in the warehouse. We request all volunteers wear masks and do not attend if they are feeling unwell.

For those that have volunteered in the past, the location has changed to a Central Packing Operation located at 1530-B Bobali Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17104 (located off of South 19^th Street). Please park in designated spaces in front of facility, no street parking.
